After 14 years of racing at Cobble Hill we feel we have the perfect combination of single and double track trails, we think the course distance is dialed in at approximately 24km for Experts, 16km for Intermediates and 8km for Beginners and we know there is enough tough climbing to satisfy a billy goat! Expect a similar route to 2019 with some variations to explore some of the new trails built on Cobble Hill over the last year. The course map will be released 2 weeks before the race to allow for ample practice.
Bring the Kids!
Cobble Hill Mountain is fortunate to have the Cleasby Bike Park located at the base of the mountain which has beginner friendly pump track and jump lines for the young rippers to ride while Mom or Dad are off racing.
Water Tower Cheer Zone
The course is climbing past the water tower (half way up the mountain) this year and the tired racers are going to need all the help they can get. We are encouraging spectators to make their way to the water tower during the race to cheer on the racers. We will provide some cowbells and noisemakers during registration.
