ENDURO
Enduro is a style of racing where the overall race time is the sum of multiple timed stages. It offers a bit more casual approach to racing as the uphill sections are not timed, only the downhill. Don’t let that fool you though, there’s plenty of fitness an pedaling required to excel at this discipline.
On Vancouver Island, course designers do their best to show off the most fun descents that the riding areas offer.

ENDURO RACING FAQS
WHAT CATEGORIES ARE THERE?
DO I NEED A RACING LICENSE?
No. While the Island Cup Series is a Cycling BC sanctioned event, participants are NOT required to purchase a race license. After registration, participants should go to – here – to register for Cycling BC’s single event license for insurance purposes. By selecting this, riders will be covered under Cycling BC’s Sport Accident Coverage. We pay for your license so you don’t have to! Please help us by completing this online waiver before race day! Even though it’s free all participants must complete this in order to race.

CAN I USE AN E-BIKE?
That’s a hard no… for now. As the popularity of E-Bikes grows we will consider adding E-Bike categoies but for now many landowners do not permit the use of E-Bikes on the trails.
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE
Registration closes on the Friday before the race. Don’t wait till the last minute, previous years almost all of the races sold out well before the cutoff time. Registration will be capped at 200-250 riders in 2022 depending on the venue.
WHAT IF I NEED A REFUND
Due to the demand for Enduro for 2022 we are not offering refunds.
We are also not offering transfers.
In the event of a major catastrophe please reply to your registration confirmation and we will see what we can to to help. In most cases you should consider your registration fee a donation to the good people that build and maintain the trails that you love.
To make changes to your registration, please read your registration confirmation email.
