Island Cup is returning to Forbidden Plateau for the first time since 2018! These secluded, rugged and lushly forested trails begin at historic Bevan townsite and immediately climb up to give the Comox Glacier a nod, as breathtaking bluffs drop down below to Comox Lake, the Puntledge River and beyond. This race is sure to be a series’ favorite again! Local bike shop, Trail Bicycles, will be hosting this fast, loose, rock slabbed race that includes close to 32 km of trail and 1200 meters of climbing, all built into 5 incredible stages. Much gratitude and kudos to past and present trailbuilders for stewarding this unique network of trails and to Mosaic for collaborating the use of this land for such an exclusive racing event!

Attendance is capped at 200 Riders
Pricing: $85 Adult, $65 U19, $50 Youth
*If you do not have a valid Cycling BC Provincial RACE license, or UCI License you will be charged and extra $10 during registration as a “non licensed rider” According to Cycling BC in 2023 You are only allowed 3 non licensed races per year. Race entry also includes a Burger and Pop and some sweet draw prizes!
Feed station on course will be stocked with HORNBY ORGANIC BARS and lots of great goodies from MATTHUW RONALD-JONES as well as the highly anticipated Trail Bicycles Bakery!
Registration is online only from August 23 8:00am – September 14 11:59pm

Please note that the stage order might be modified before the race. We want to keep riders flowing through the course and may have to juggle the order of stages to minimize bottle necks.
