RACE DETAILS

6 Categories:

Expert, JR Expert (Under 19) and Masters (40+) will all do the Long Course (5 Stages).

Sport will ride the shorter course of 4 Stages.

U19 will ride a shorter course of 3 Stages.

U15 will ride 2 Stages.

Youth U12 will ride 1 Stage.

*Racers can race in categories higher than their age. Ex. A 14-year-old can race in the U19 Category.

Attendance:

Capped at 200 Riders.

Pricing:

$85 Adult, $65 U19, $50 Youth

Race License: *’Provincial Race License’ or ‘UCI Race License‘

*If you do not have a valid Cycling BC Provincial RACE license, or UCI License you will be charged and extra $25 during registration ($5 for U19 riders) as a “non licensed  rider”.  According to Cycling BC in 2025 you are only allowed 3 non licensed races per year.  If you plan on racing more than 3 races you must purchase a license.  We highly recommend doing this before registration day.

Feed Station:

The on course feed station will be stocked with lots of great goodies from MATTHUW RONALD-JONES and Hornby Organic

Feed station on course will be stocked with Hornby ORGANIC Bars and lots of great goodies from Matthuw Ronald-Jones

  • 9:30 – Full Course Racer Meeting (Expert, Jr. Expert, Masters)
  • 9:35 – Full Course Race Start (Expert, Jr. Expert, Masters)
  • 10:30 – Short Course/U19/U15/Youth Racer Meeting
  • 10:35 – Sport/U19 Race Start
  • 11:00 – U15/Youth race Start
  • 12:00 – 3:30 – BBQ/Chip Hand-In/Race Finish
  • *3:30 – 4:00 – Podiums & Prizes (Subject to change)

GETTING THERE & PARKING

Race staging will be located off Nanaimo Lakes Road.  Follow the road until you see race signage.  

Base camp has changed to “Mid Camp”
 

Meeting Spot:
We’ll gather at the top of Endor/ the Connector. We are stationed on 142 main. You’ll need to turn off Nanaimo Lakes Rd at this logging road this year: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jpjnr5t6MSBkPf42A  Signs will be posted for directions as well.

 Parking may take more time as we will be turning people around to point downhill. This is just to reduce the chaos at the end of the day and less Austin Power moves. You’ll thank us later… It’s a tight road. 
Also, no driving people up to reg!!! There isn’t space to turn anyone around. You’ll have to ride you bikes up.
